Can you guess who was at our house this week?
This is Jacob's latest word obsession. While Noah, Sydney & I were playing the other day, Jacob was scribbling away at his Magna-doodle. Then he said, "Noah", and sure enough... there it was!
I also have a picture of him from about a week ago when we were at Noah & Sydney's house. Jacob had taken the magnetic letters on their fridge and lined them up to spell... you guessed it - noah. :-)
Jacob reached another milestone this week. You know how most kids don't have any problem with saying "mine" when someone tries to take their toy? Well, Jacob has never done that before... he just gives up whatever he has that interests another kid and moves on. But, just a little bit after the above picture was taken, Sydney wanted to draw with the 'magna-pen'... and Jacob got upset and said "Jacob's turn!". That's his way of saying 'mine'. I guess he just has to be motivated or REALLY attached to something before he'll speak up.
