Jumping...

Doing a chin-up...
Twirling the swing...
Some things Jacob has been saying lately:
  • Tonight during his prayers, he was thanking God for the usual people... "Emma Kate, Uncle Wes, Sarah, Jim, Nick ??? For those of you who live in Murfreesboro, Jacob is referring to Jim and Nick of the BBQ place over on Thompson Lane. :) Must've been some good stuff.
  • "Daddy, can you die?" WHAT??? We asked him what he meant, he said "Can you die for us?" We've been talking a lot about how Jesus loves us and how He died for us.
  • We were filling out a questionnaire for our shoebox for Samaritan's Purse. One of the questions was "Why do you love Jesus?" - to which Jacob answered "because He died for us".
  • "I'm an Oreo-licker, Mommy!"
  • "I want to listen to 3 people, Mommy!" - referring to the new CD by CrossWay's very own trio, Encounter. We are stuck on song #4... as soon as it ends, Jacob says "MORE! Loud, Mommy!"
  • He's reciting Romans 3:23, Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:10, Genesis 1:31, John 3:33, Luke 1:31-32, and Luke 2:30 - Hooray for Awana Cubbies!
  • Reciting the entire Pledge of Allegiance (Attention...Saluke...Pledge!)
  • "What's your name?" to EVERY person he comes in contact with. And then he'll ask me, "What's her name mommy?" when referring to a boy, or vice versa. Still a little mixed up with pronouns. :) Some offended little boys at the playground at being called 'her'.

That's the latest around here for now... hope to have some pumpkin patch / Halloween pictures to share next time. :)
