< farm boy - take 2 >

I took a few hundred pictures of Jacob and Emma Kate, so I have way too many to share. I'm really happy with what I was able to capture of both Jacob and Emma Kate this time around... I got a lot of images that I and my family love and will cherish forever.

When my mom first saw this image of Jacob and my dad, it immediately brought tears to her eyes.

That's the kind of image I love to create.

She wants this on her wall, and she wants it BIG. Me too. :)
My brother is making custom frames for them out of old barnwood.
I love hands pictures... this is the first one I've gotten with Jacob and anyone. I love the contrast of the hard-working hands with the innocence of the young hands. I want to get one with each of his grandparents. I want him to know what they did with their hands.

Another one I love... something about the way he's looking at this dog makes me smile. That, and I love the hat.
Joe bought it for my dad when we took them to Lancaster, PA to see the Amish countryside.
I love hands... & I also love feet. :)

I love that when I look at this picture in the future, I won't be able to date it because it is so timeless.
A boy, a straw hat, some denim overalls and a big 'ole hay bale... a combination that never goes out of style.
