That's what the school photographer said as soon as he got Jacob seated on the little stool and tweaked his head and chin to the standard position. Do you know how much I wanted to shout, "NO! We do NOT say cheese at our house!" But I regained my senses in enough time to prevent making a fool of myself at Jacob's school. =)

Some of you may think that Jacob must only own one sweater. =) I think this is probably the final appearance from this beloved Gymboree favorite. He's been wearing it in pictures for better than a year... so I think it's safe to say that it can be retired now, with a life well captured. It's just so stinking cute - especially with the matching knit hat and scarf. =)

Its really funny that you still ordered the "School Photos" with all of the amazing photos you have/take. I think its something about the stock, typical, shot that brings us back to our own childhood that we actually crave on our walls.
Considering how bad they often come out, Jacobs looks pretty good! Must be the subject!
Well, now I didn't say I was putting it on the WALL, did I?? =) I was actually contemplating just a basic school photo album...putting an 8x10 of "the school picture" each year along with some other pictures from school. OR I had toyed with doing a digital book of each year of school... his own personal yearbook, so to speak.

Hehehehe! I knew that title had a good story behind it. Glad you didn't tackle the school photographer over that one. Yes, that cute sweater has been very loved by your little man (and his Mommy). Time for another trip to the Gymboree...
Ya gotta have the school photo. I mean what kid doesn't have it? He takes such good pictures. And that is a super cool sweater. =) By the way do you answer emails anymore? LOL! I saw someone else said the same so I had to say something too!
There is nothing wrong with that picture. Any picture with your own child in it is amazing, regardless of the photographer's finesse. I will admit that the pictures you took of my own little angels are superior to Wal-Mart, but school pictures...you just gotta have them!
