< wiggly >

Jacob just came downstairs to gleefully announce that he has gotten his first wiggly tooth! Is it pathetic that I was so excited for him, but then so sad that he's growing up?? He said that the tooth fairy would probably leave him a quarter or a dollar - what IS the fairy's going rate these days?

Claire is very excited about her wiggly teeth too! It must be a big deal because before she discovered them I noticed the look of jealousy she cast to a friend that announced his loose tooth. I've heard some crazy tooth-fairy rates, but I think it is about a dollar at our house.

We did $5 for the first tooth, mainly because his friend had gotten that same amount a week before Owen lost his. Then he has gotten a dollar for every tooth since.

PLEASE do not tell Wild Man about the wiggly. He has been dying (for the past YEAR) for a wiggly tooth. No luck yet. Your little man is growing up!
