< california - day 1 >

I'm finally getting around to going through our vacation photos from 3 months ago. Back in June, we spent a week exploring the central California coast. We flew into San Francisco and stayed there a couple of days.

Highlights from Day 1:

• Cable car rides - obviously a must do in SFO. While we waited in line at the turnaround, I received a free change purse and note pad from random Vera Bradley employee! 

• People watching - I think it's safe to say the bigger the city, the stranger the things you'll see. My favorite was this dude walking down Market Street wearing a cat. Yes, like a real cat was draped around his neck like a scarf - and it was kneading his shoulders as he walked.
  

• Ghirardelli Square - YUM!
  

• Apple store - no matter where we are, if we see the big Apple we must go in. This is the coolest and biggest one we've been in yet.
