One of Jacob's projects during the first 6 weeks of school was to create a Flat Jacob. What in the world is that, you ask? It is based on a book called "Flat Stanley", by Jeff Brown. His assignment was to make his "flat self" and send him to a friend in another city or state, via mail, so they could take him on an adventure. Jacob decided it would be super fun to go on an adventure with his friend McKenna in Oklahoma.

McKenna really got into her role as hostess... here is an excerpt from her mom's blog:

"KK Was VERY excited about taking 'flat' Jacob around and showing him some of her favorite things. Cartoons in the morning before school, her classrooom, tap class & tumbling at Angie's Dance Plus, and Taco Bob's (her favorite place to eat!!)."
