Me & my size 10s kickin' it by the firepit...
At our house in Delaware we had a cobblestone paver patio, complete with an integrated firepit. (Sometime I really should dig up photos and reminisce... that was our first house.) We thoroughly enjoyed that wonderful outdoor space for about a year before we moved back to TN. We haven't been too excited about our patio here... it's one of those aggregate slabs that kills your feet to walk on. But we recently saw an episode of Landscape Smart on HGTV that got us excited about the possibilities in our back yard - and made us realize that we could build our own firepit!
We bought the stones on Friday, and had the firepit assembled complete with the inaugural fire and smores the very next day! Actually, we assembled it -twice-... we whipped that bad boy up in about 15 minutes, only to realize that the ground wasn't completely level and it bugged me beyond belief! So we unstacked, relocated a tad, then restacked.
Here's to our new favorite place to be!
