Aunt Falon really pulled off a good one this Christmas. She told Jacob that Santa accidentally left one of his presents at their house. The present had another note from Santa to Jacob, which he proceeded to read for us. What could the 'missing present' be???


a 5th Peter Rabbit! Jacob said, "See, Santa could make more rabbits!", contrary to what we'd been telling him for about 6 months. I tried to acquire more rabbits earlier in the year... because you never know when you'll need them or when hard times might hit. BUT they had been discontinued by Gund and were nowhere to be found... or so we thought! But Aunt Falon was able to pull off the surprise of surprises.

Let me introduce you to the newest rabbit friend - his name is MAX. He's already bonded with his rabbit family - Bumpy, Lumpy, Pretzel, & New Pete. =)


And speaking of surprises, I was able to pull off a good one myself. Joe's mom is a Paula Deen fanatic... so I surprised her with a trip to Savannah, GA to take a Paula Deen tour and to eat at the famous Lady & Sons restaurant. We'll be leaving in 2 days, Dec. 27. This face is priceless:
