< twas the night before christmas >

We got Jacob into bed on Christmas Eve... then we realized that he hadn't left Santa a note or a snack! I know... what kind of parents are we?! SO we got him back up to do the things that little kids do on the night before Christmas:


Dear Santa,
I want no bunny (b/c we told him Santa had discontinued 'making' those),
a watch,
and a weather toy.

He proceeded to draw a self portrait. "This is my hair, this is my neck, this is my shirt, these are my legs... and this is my pull-up!" (I got a little nervous when he drew the U-shape between his legs).


He originally put some Mini Pretzel Bites on the plate for Santa & a glass of Chocolate Milk (b/c Jacob says that is Santa's favorite). Then he said, "and how about an oreo truffle?" Then... "and how about 5 M&Ms?" Finally... "Perhaps he would like one more thing... an Oreo". If Santa gets stuck in your chimney... the Marlers are the reason. Sorry about that!
