< paint day >

Some of last night and all of today has been spent in the confines of our master bath. For three years, we have lived with the worst pinky-builders-beige. Slowly but surely, we are eradicating that color room by room.

I've never been in love with our bathroom... it's not really one of those rooms where we spend a lot of time, so it's never really been high on the list. But I must say that a gallon of paint and some new rugs and towels have worked wonders on our little spot. I need to add a few accessories, trim out the plate glass mirror, and add a scarf to top the window -- but for the most part, it's done! (minus painting all the white trim - ugh)

edited to add: the color is Porter Paint 'Nut Shell'. It's a shade darker than 'Shadow Taupe'.

Here are a few pictures of what it looks like now:

I love the color!!! I so know what you are talking about with the original wall color - you've seen here and I've got the same problem!!! But I can't decide on a color till I've been in a house for at least 3 years!! ha
