< NASA: in photos >

Easter weekend was spent in Houston, TX for the much anticipated NASA trip that Jacob has been talking about for months... here are some photos:

Overlooking where the astronauts train for the ISS

Strange sight - longhorns in the middle of the Johnson Space Center Campus... perhaps they're researching methane?

Joe, to me: "Did we really drive to Houston for a ball pit??"

Yes, it appears the ball pit is one of the highlights of the trip.

We just about ran off the interstate on the way down to Houston... there was an ENORMOUS statue looming over us on the side of I-45.
Welcome to Huntsville, home of Sam Houston and his statue. Oh yeah, it's known for it's prisons, too... complete with a "Prison Museum" for your educational experience. Not joking! But no, we did not go.
Joe is just wrong on so many levels sometimes... =)

A great time was had by all ~ now Jacob wants to go to Cape Canaveral. =)
