During our language arts study today, we learned about quatrains (a four-line poem). Jacob's assignment was to write a quatrain with an ABAB pattern. Much like his mother, he struggles with creative writing... but I did get a chuckle out of this one. Look out Shel Silverstein!

My goats are taking a trip,
by rocket to outer space.
The rocket went zip,
Puff lost a horn on his face.

This is a picture of Puff, one of the goats in the field behind our house. Ironically, Puff doesn't have any horns on his face. =)
