We started our homeschool studies again this past Monday. We were both thankful for the return of the predictability that comes with a routine. Jacob promptly revised the name of our homeschool from
New Horizons Academy to
New Horizons Academy : Texas Version. ;-) I'll show more pictures after we get settled, but here is a glimpse of his little nook. His area gets lots of natural light, and this window looks out into the backyard where he can monitor the activity of our furry neighbors.

I definitely think it will be easier to incorporate more handwriting into school now... Jacob is
very excited at the prospect of having
lots of pen pals.
His first letter across the states? A birthday note to his Papaw.

Very sweet. Looks like Jacob and Molly have something in common. They like the "soft drink". LOL!
Ha... that was mine. I don't give him caffeine - I can't imagine the increase in verbalazation that would ensue after a 20 oz. bottle of the Dew. =)
