It was a beautiful day here with temps in the mid-60s, so Jacob and I decided to venture to the botanic garden and scope it out. Much to my surprise, access to most of the garden is free of charge! There are a couple of areas where you have to pay admission (the conservatory and the Japanese garden), but everything else was open access.
We had to walk back to the entrance and check out the "big flower clock" - Jacob was really impressed with it. As a matter of fact, so was I.... it was a real functioning clock!
I had flashbacks to Michigan J. Frog as Jacob cozied up to this little fella... "Everybody do the Michigan raaaaaaaag."
